Editorial Policy
Last updated: 31 July 2026
This policy governs everything published on the site, and it exists because the subject rewards being right in a way that is easy to verify. Readers use these pages to decide where to send an advertising budget or which network to put on their own inventory, so an out-of-date payout floor is not a cosmetic error but a costly one. Four principles run through every page: accuracy of each checkable statement, independence from the commercial relationship that funds the site, transparency about what is sourced and what is estimated, and currency, meaning a figure carries the date it was last read. Where those principles conflict with a more persuasive version of the page, the principles win.
The rule that sits above the others
A commercial relationship can decide which platform is used as a worked example. It can never decide what a factual column says, in which direction a table is ordered, or whether a drawback is printed. The comparison on the Adult Traffic page carries only checkable attributes, with no scores, no rankings and no ordering by preference, precisely so that there is nothing in it that money could bend. The limits listed beside the partner network are real, they cost revenue, and they stay.
How a page is produced, step by step
- Question list before research. We write down what a buyer and a publisher must answer before spending money. Sections exist to answer one of those questions; a section that answers none is cut regardless of how well it reads.
- Source gathering. Each question is matched to a document that can settle it, following the tiers in how we check. Questions with no available source are either dropped or published with an explicit gap.
- Drafting. The draft introduces no new facts. Anything that appears in the text must already exist in the research notes with a source and a date attached.
- Fact pass. Every figure is checked back against the note that captured it, and every unit is checked for comparability, because two true numbers in different units are the easiest way to publish a false impression.
- Adversarial read. One pass is spent trying to break the page: which sentence would still be true if the brand were swapped, which claim has no source, which section could be deleted without losing an answer. What survives is what publishes.
- Dated publication and review. The page ships with a last-checked date, and that date only moves when the sources are genuinely re-read.
What we fact-check against
Deposit and payout terms are verified on the platforms’ own payment and terms pages rather than on any comparison article, because comparison articles are where stale figures reproduce. Market-access claims are verified against regulators and against the primary statements of the companies that own the inventory. Price ranges are the exception that proves the rule: no network in the comparison publishes a rate card, so every CPM band on this site is an attributed third-party estimate and is labelled as one. We do not use a network’s own blog as evidence about a competitor, in either direction.
Independence in practice
Editorial decisions are made on the basis of what the documents say, and no platform, network or partner reviews a page before it goes live. We do not accept payment for inclusion, for placement within a table, or for the removal of a stated limitation, and a request for any of those ends the conversation rather than starting a negotiation. If a commercial partner’s terms became materially worse than the alternatives, the table would say so and the page would keep running, because the alternative is a site whose numbers nobody can rely on. The funding arrangement itself is disclosed in full in the affiliate disclosure, and what can and cannot be bought is set out in the advertising policy.
Corrections
Report an error and we check it against the primary source within two working days. Confirmed errors are corrected, the last-checked date is updated, and a material change is noted on the page itself rather than made quietly, so that anyone who acted on the earlier version can see what moved. Where a figure turns out to be unverifiable rather than wrong, we relabel it or remove it instead of leaving it standing with a caveat nobody reads. We do not delete a page to make an error disappear. Corrections go through contact.
Requirements on whoever writes here
Every page is signed with a real name and links to a profile that can be checked, and anonymous analysis is not published. Authors must disclose any conflict of interest, and the one that applies across this entire site is disclosed on every relevant page rather than buried on a single legal notice. Authors may not publish first-person performance claims they cannot evidence: an invented measurement is the fastest way to destroy the credibility of a page that is otherwise accurate. The background of the person writing here is on the author page.
For the rest of the site: who publishes this and why is on the about page, use of the site is governed by the terms and conditions. Beyond that, data handling is described in the privacy policy, cookie practice is described in the cookie policy.
